The address is 785 Beaver St, Waltham, MA.
If you’re driving: After entering the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall campus via the Beaver St. entrance, take the first right to get to Lot 1, closest to the pool; if Lot 1 is full, the entrance to Lot 2 is on Lexington St.
If you’re taking public transportation: The Waltham stop on the Fitchburg commuter rail line is approximately one mile away, the Alewife red line station is six miles away, and there are a number of bus stops within one mile.
We strongly encourage people to carpool or take other modes of transportation.

Every person of every size, ability, cultural background, ethnicity, faith, gender, gender expression, gender identity, ideology, income, national origin, race, and sexual orientation is welcome at our events.
However, because of our insurance policy, all attendees must be over thirteen years of age.
We strongly encourage those in the most marginalized bodies to come! We believe diversity benefits us all.

There are two outdoor pools, both treated with chlorine. The lower pool is a six-lane, standard-sized competition pool, 3-9 feet deep, with step and ladder entries. The upper pool is 2-3 feet deep with a zero-entry ramp.
You can find photos of the pools and other spaces here. Check back here closer to the event for the party layout.
-
If the event needs to be canceled for rain, we will alert all ticketholders via email. If we are able to reschedule the event, tickets will not be refunded, though may be transferred by emailing us.
-
Please email us if you have specific accessibility questions or need more information. You can also reach out if you’d like to reserve an accessible parking space.
You can find photos of the pools and other spaces here.
Access to both pools is paved and level. The lower pool (deep) is accessed by a level, paved path from the adjacent parking lot to the pool deck; it has six steps with railings to enter the water, as well as a chair lift. The upper pool (shallow) is accessed by either stairs from the lower pool or a paved incline from the adjacent parking lot; it has an entry ramp with railings. Unfortunately, there is no direct access between pool areas for those who cannot climb stairs.
There are accessible toilets and changing spaces adjacent to both pools, with one accessible stall per gendered restroom. The restroom with urinal access only has one stall, and it is the accessible stall.
Lifeguards will be on duty. Swim at your own risk.
-
This is an outdoor event with ample space, so masks are not required, but are encouraged. We ask that anyone feeling ill stay home from the event.
-
There will be lifeguards on site.

The ticket price is $60, and our ticket tiers are $30, 60, and 90. Bigger Bodies Boston is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. We set ticket prices with the goal of covering the cost of the event, not making money.
Bigger Bodies Boston is dedicated to financial accessibility, particularly for the most marginalized members of our community. Approximately thirty percent of the tickets for this event are available for free or at half cost. If the full ticket price is accessible for you, we very much appreciate you reserving the subsidized tickets for those who need them. If you are able and moved to contribute a little extra, any top-tier ticket purchases or additional donations will allow us to add more subsidized tickets!
If $30 is too much for you or we are out of $30 tickets, there are a couple of options: (1) We have a limited number of free tickets available; email us if you need one! (No need to provide an explanation as to why, just let us know that you need free admission to the party and we will do our best to accommodate.) (2) We may still need volunteers! Volunteers get free admission and will work no more than half of the party. You must be able to lift and carry. Inquire here.
